This year, as we approach our 95th anniversary, San José City College has embarked on new projects and programs to further enrich the lives of our students and the community. As the 10th oldest community college in the California community college system, we continue to be proud of all that we have accomplished through the delivery of excellent instruction and support services to students who attend San José City College. Our expert and experienced faculty present a rigorous and stimulating academic curriculum while our student services provide the necessary support to assist you in reaching your academic goals. There are also plenty of activities and leadership opportunities avail able on campus. We offer a variety of degree and certificate programs to meet your education and job training needs. Our career/technical education programs combine classroom experience with on-the-job training to teach our students the practical skills they need to succeed in the job market.

SJCC offers a growing list of Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADTs) with guaranteed admission to the CSU. ADTs are available in the fields of Elementary Teacher Education, Economics, Mathematics, Communication Students, Business Administration, Administration of Justice, Psychology and Kinesiology.
SJCC is the largest provider of training in manufacturing in Santa Clara County and provides work force education in Computer Electronics Technology, CNC Machinist, Machine Technology, Entry-Level Machinist, Facilities Maintenance Technology, Laser Technology, Machine Shop Safety, Programmable Logic Controls, Blueprint Reading and Welding
